Length and fullness, matched to your hair

Every set starts with a consultation, where we choose a method that suits your hair, and a color-match visit, so the hair blends at the roots and the ends.

Four methods

Which method suits your hair

Each wears a little differently and is moved up on its own schedule. A move-up takes the extensions out and places them back close to your roots as your hair grows. We go through all four at your consultation.

The plan

How a set comes together

Four visits, in this order.

  • 45 min

    Consultation

We look at your hair, talk through the length and fullness you want, and choose a method that suits it. Every extension service starts here.

  • 30 min

    Color-match visit

Swatches held against your hair in daylight, at the roots and the ends. We write the match down before anything is ordered.

  • 2 to 5 hours

    Install

The method you chose, placed in sections, with a check-in as we go. The time depends on the method and the amount of hair.

  • Every 5 to 12 weeks

    Move-up

As your hair grows, the extensions come out and go back close to your roots. The schedule depends on the method.

The color-match visit

Matched in daylight, before anything is ordered

A color match is its own visit, so the wefts and your hair can be compared at the window.

Wear your hair the way you usually do. We hold swatches against your roots, mid-lengths and ends, and note where highlights or a gloss change the tone. Then we order the wefts or have them toned to match, and book your install.

In the visit

  • Done at the window, in daylight

  • Roots, mid-lengths and ends each matched

  • A written match before any hair is ordered

Questions people ask first

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. Extensions start with a consultation, whichever method you have in mind. We look at your hair, talk through what you want and choose a method that suits it. It takes 45 minutes, and nothing is ordered or installed until you have a plan.

How do I choose a method?

We go through all four with your hair in front of us: how fine or dense it is, how you wear it and how often you want to come in. Most clients leave the consultation knowing which one they want.

How long does an install take?

It depends on the method and the amount of hair you are adding. Every service on the menu shows its time, from about two hours to five.

What is a move-up?

As your hair grows, the extensions sit further from your roots. A move-up takes them out and places them back close to the roots. Each method has its own usual schedule, from every five weeks to every twelve, and we set the date before you leave.

How much will it cost?

It depends on the method, the amount of hair and your stylist's level. You get a written quote at your consultation, and prices show when you book.

How do I look after extensions between visits?

Brush gently from the ends up, wash on a schedule we'll go over, dry the roots fully and sleep in a loose braid. Your stylist adjusts it for your method.
