In short

Policies

The four things most clients ask before they book.

  • Extensions start with a consultation

Every method begins with a 45-minute consultation, before anything is ordered, cut or installed.

  • Deposit to book

Installs take a deposit that goes toward your service. The amount shows when you book.

  • Notice

We ask for 48 hours to cancel or move an appointment.

  • Move-ups on schedule

Your move-up date is set before you leave, and the schedule depends on your method.

The details

Booking and deposits

Book online or text us. Extensions start with a consultation, so new clients book that first, then a color-match visit. Installs take a deposit that holds your stylist's time and goes toward your service; the amount shows when you book.

Canceling and running late

Please give us 48 hours to cancel or move an appointment. An install holds most of a day for one stylist, and notice lets us offer that time to someone else. If you're running late, call or text: we'll do what the time allows, or rebook.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss an appointment without a word, the deposit stays with the studio and we ask for a new one to rebook. We would rather hear from you first.

Children and companions

Children are welcome when they are having a service. Installs are long and the room is small, so one guest can sit with you.

Patch tests and allergies

Tell us if you have ever reacted to an adhesive, a bonding product or a hair product. Where the maker's directions call for a test, we do a small one before your install and set up a short visit for it. This isn't medical advice: for a reaction, see your doctor.

If you're not happy

If you're not happy with your set, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Results vary with your hair, the method and how you look after it, which is why we talk about what's realistic at your consultation.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. Leave one at the desk or when you pay, and it goes to the stylist who did your hair.

Before your visit

Come with your hair washed and dry, with no oil or heavy product at the roots, and wear a top that lifts away from your neck. Bring photos of the length you have in mind. For the color-match visit, wear your hair the way you usually do.
