Questions people ask first
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. Extensions start with a consultation, whichever method you have in mind. We look at your hair, talk through what you want and choose a method that suits it. It takes 45 minutes, and nothing is ordered or installed until you have a plan.
How do I choose a method?
We go through all four with your hair in front of us: how fine or dense it is, how you wear it and how often you want to come in. Most clients leave the consultation knowing which one they want.
How long does an install take?
It depends on the method and the amount of hair you are adding. Every service on the menu shows its time, from about two hours to five.
What is a move-up?
As your hair grows, the extensions sit further from your roots. A move-up takes them out and places them back close to the roots. Each method has its own usual schedule, from every five weeks to every twelve, and we set the date before you leave.
Can I color my hair or the extensions?
Ask us first. Color changes how we plan your next move-up, and we'll tell you what your method allows. We book it as a visit of its own.
I have had extensions before. Does that change anything?
It helps. Tell us what method you wore, how it went and how it came out. We look at your hair and say what we would do.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the method, the amount of hair and your stylist's level. You get a written quote at your consultation, and prices show when you book.
How does a deposit work?
Installs take a deposit that holds your stylist's time and goes toward your service. The amount shows when you book.
What if I need to cancel or I'm running late?
Please give us 48 hours to cancel or move an appointment. If you're running late, call or text and we'll do what the time allows, or rebook.
How do I look after extensions between visits?
Brush gently from the ends up, wash on a schedule we'll go over, dry the roots fully and sleep in a loose braid. Your stylist adjusts it for your method.

Can you take out extensions put in elsewhere?
We look at them first and tell you whether we can. Removal is on the menu for all four methods.
Can I bring a friend or a child?
Children are welcome when they are having a service. Installs are long and the room is small, so one guest can sit with you.
